The Women’s 2nd XI had an exciting cup game against North Kildare. Both teams ended on 123 but sadly we lost one more wicket than them so they progress to the next round.
Both Jenny Sparrow and Katie Dillon scored in the 40s, Valmai Gee was awesome behind the stumps and we took our chances with catches and run outs, it just wasn’t our day.

The Women’s 3rd XI got a bye into the next round of the cup as Terenure were unable to field a team. Sadly Terenure will also come out of the league.

The Women’s 1st XI had a great win against Merrion at home on Thursday. Restricting Merrion to 94 with some tight bowling and sharp keeping. Laura Delany was the standout player with 45 and 3 wickets, Clare Webber and Isabella Merriman taking 2 each.

The Women’s Social team had a convincing win last night up in Terenure with 2 new joiners taking the field in Sadhbh Smyth and Jenny Masterson. A huge welcome to them both.
